Cut Off Point Front Page Text

I found out that the amount of text shown on the main page of a blog can be fairly easily set, There is a button for it that looks like a long hyphen, way over to the right on the row (it slides).

This should be done in the Compose view.

Another way is to insert <!-- more --> at the desired cut off point. This must be done in the HTML view.
